2 blogs in one day..?! how lucky for you! a very summery tuesday(sarcasm)

I work at a school, so am currently on 6 weeks SUMMER holiday (mwahahahaha).  To be fair...this has been quite a sunny summer so far ( sunny for southern england anyway!) , nbut it always seems to be the days im doing something that its amazingly sunny!  We have a balcony with 2 chairs and a table on which i like to tan myself up on on nice days! So today... both me and my boyfriend are off and were planning on sitting out on the balcony, playing cards and having  nice drink of cider....but nooooo..... its grey outside!  It hasnt rained as of yet, but there are massive grey clouds in the sky which makes me sad when i planned to sit in the sun doing sweet f/a all day!! 

So i thought i would enlighten you with things that make me happy and unhappy!

Loves...

<3sun glasses-they make everyone look cool...or like a bug :)
<3 the sun in general....having a tan makes me happy!!
<3 a cold glass of strongbow
<3 light rain showers in early spring
<3 rainbows...they are beautiful
<3 primark... the cheapness always puts a smile on my face :)

<3 going to cyprus to see laura and rich <3 <3
<3 watching my cats chase flys.. HILLARIOUS, especially when they jump at the window and slide down lol

Dislikes....

</3 marmite...this is mostly due to being very allergic to it! it makes me come up in a rash even if i touch it
</3 rain during summer
</3 negative people-if you dont like what people have to say or like people keep it to yourself
</3washing up.. it makes me want to cry lol
</3 leaving hot sunny countries when you know you are returning to stupid cold england!
</3 saying goodbye to pupils going to secondary school :(


There are many more things i do and dont like... but this is what i have been thinking about recently!

let me introduce you......

to my cats  :)!   I know what you are thinking....everybody has cats who cares!...but!  mine are special cats!  You see, me and my boyfruend live in a third floor new build flat opposite a main road...So we cant just open our float door so they an go out of the downstaors entrance as it is all security locked and you need a buzzer to get in and out of the building...so my cats.... ARE FLAT CATS :) 

The only bad point to having inside cats is the fact you hve to change the cat oltter allll the time!  There is nothng worse than a smelly flat! and we obviously cant have the windows wide open as they may jump to ther death!( its scary as hell when you forget that ou havnt shut the door and forget the window is open and your heart stops when you see them by the window!)

so this is Marley :)  i found her on the preloved website and collected her from around the corner from where we live.  When we got her... we were told she was a him...hence the manly name!  we also got told she was 3 months old when she was 6 months!  But!  we love her none the less ( and tbh i wanted a girl cat anyway..it s becaue she was so beautiful that i didnt care the sex lol!)  The vets worked out her birthday to be around the end of october, so we decided sh is a halloween baby :) she will be 2 this halloween :)  She is a beautiful nnatured cat, very cheeky though!  as soon s one of us moves off the sofa she jumps in our spot and rolls around in it ( whch is very funny as she tries to be cute!).  She is very cuddly but only on her terms, so we make a massive fuss of her when she does actually come over to us!

When we first got her she dissappeared quite alot( our flat is fairly big and there are lots of hdey holes...)  I will aoways remember the first time i found her in the sink!  i went into the bathroom and turned the light on and there was this little face(pictured above!).  Because we are so high up in the flat, it is vary warm, so i think that she likes the coolness of the sink!  only problem is that she sits here why you are having a bath.. and quite often suprise attacks and jumps on me which scares the life out of me!!!

Meet Maisie :)  This was when we'd only had her for a a month or so. Although it looks like im holding her in a strange way, she comes up and sits on me like this all the time!( even now !)  

She was born on May 27th 2011 so is 15 months old :)  she is the most gorgeously natured cat ever!  She is extremely loving and would quite happily sit on your lap or snuggle next to you all day :)  Bad point is if you shut her out the room to open the window , she screams outside the door until you let her in or go and see her!!!!!

Total girl after my own heart loving a good old primark bag!  They both spend their time finding bags like this and carier bags and play in them which they coud do for hours ( easily amused!)

They can be pains at times, but i cant imagine not having them here, the flat would be a quiet place!

Most used lip products and lipticks!

so I recently decied to sort out all the make up I own and get rid of old bits.  During my tidy up, i found lots of lipsticks i forgot i had and also some glosses!  So ive decided to show you all my favourite lip products and when i use/wear them :)

I will start from th front left and go in anticlockwise way round :)

So the front left is my FAVEEEE lipstick ever!  It is a rimmel london one in 700-nude delight.  This is a lipstick that i wear most days and because its a nude lippy it goes woth most outfits :) it is also really glossy :)

Next along is another rimmel londits on one, in 164-tantrum.  It is a lot darker in person than it is in the picture and is a nice deep red, i wear this in dancing shows that i perform in and on a night out when im going for a more vampy look!

Next is another red one that is much lighter red and is fairly sheer so needs a gloss over it.  I got this from a litle store when i went to kos a couple of years ago!


Last on the bottom row is the green barry m lipstick.  It changes to a different shade of pink depending on your lips.  It comes out a nice colour but hasnt got any gloss or shine to it so gloss is a necessity !

back right is a collection 2000 lasting colour lipstick in 8-sweet tart.  it is a bright lightish pink and is a  really nice colour.

Middle back is another collection 2000 lasting colour lipstick in 3-sugarplum, it is a deep pnk and looks great when wearing a darker outfit to brighten it up.

Last (back left is my second fave lipstick ( very close call with this and my fave!)  is a rimmel london lasting  finish lipstick in 206- nude pink.  It is such a pretty colour and really does go with anything!  It has a slight pink tint to it which is so pretty and girly! i wear this during the day if im not wearing my nude lippy!



I am next going to show you other lip products ( glosses and scrubs!)nthat i loveeee and use all the time! 

I will star with the back left hand product!  This is my GOSH light n shine lip gloss in 03( no colour name given!)   this gloss is amazing! The lid lights up when you take it out and it has a little mirror on the side!  it is a nudey pink shimmery gloss and is really flattering :)

next along is an elf luscious liquid lipstick  in pink lemonade, it is a really nice colour and lasts quite a while when on, it is also quite glossy so no gloss is needed on top!

next is sexy mother pucker by soap and glory and is in pink apricot :) it tingles your lips which feels really strange! and is a great gloss!

next in the white tube is cinditioning balm from elf in strawberry cream which is sooooo amazing on your lips! it really hydrates them, i tend to put it on before bed and i wake up with lovely soft lips!

last in the back row on the right is a number 7 and is in the colour smile.  i got this just after christmas in a set, it is a really nice pink colour but the brush is really small and is really annoying to apply to your lips so i tend to d to use a old lip gloss stick to apply it!

next is mmy lush bubblegum lip scrub.  it is AMAZINGGGGGGG! you apply a small amount on your finger and gently rub it on to your lips to get rid of dead skin , i tend to put this on before bed ( once or twice a week) and then put on my conditioning balm :)

last is a .lipgloss i got in a set for christmas, it is exclusive to boots and called bobbypin, it is a really pretty gloss but i have to be careful of how much i put on because it  can be quite sticky!

my shopping obsession is getting worse!!!

so after having no money for nearly 3 weeks ( stupid maintanace for where we live has gone up lots its gay!), i finally got paid on friday!  I am pretty sure that my bankcard is going to stay stuck in the machine at some point due to being used to much lol!! 

So this weekend i went a bit shopping crazy!..... I got 4 new pairs of shoes ( see the blog below!) a new dress, tights, pj bottoms, a bracelet, earings,portable cd/dvd writer ( as i have a net book which doesnt have a disk drive!), some blank disks and a xbox game! ( lego harry potter ftw!)

Today.... i spent £25 on ELF products...oops! but in my defense i needed everything i got! hehe!  the products i  got were....  a gel eye liner, moisturising lip balm ( and another for my bestest cos im nice like that and i miss her when shes at uni so feel the need to get her nice bits when shes actually home!) a eyeshadow and hughlighter 2 ended pen, a cutical softener pen, cutical pushers and some eye shadow!  When they arrive i shall so a mini haul and review on the products!

Primark Haul!

So....basically I have a mega obsession with primark!  and theres is currently a massive sale on there so i spent a fair bt of money!  I'm going to show my favourite products and the ones i think were the best value!

I found ths handbag hanging in the middle of a clothes rack and loved it instantly!  It is a tan tassle bag with a long shoulder strap that you can wear on one shoulder or put it over so it crosses over your chest.  It was originally £9 but i got it for £4!

I went to a wedding on Saturday and had a cream and blue dress so thought a nutral colour shoe would go really well.  I found this pair of heels , they are about 2 inches high ( im 5 ft 9 so dont need much of a heel!)  They are ridiculously confy to!   I managed to wear them from half 5 til half 11 which is a mircle for me as i norally take them off after about a hour!!!

Ok so this is the best bargain i got in the sale!  I needed more shoes (obviously!) other than sandles for the summer so i thought i would getmyself some espadrilles.  I tend to wear black pink or blue ( most days!) so was umming and ahhing about which colour to buy, i decided on the pink pair and looked at the price label and saw that they were only £3 which i thought was a bargain!  but then saw that it had a pen line through it... and they were only £1!!!!!!  so of course i got all 3 colours!  think that £3 was pretty good for 3 pairs of shoes!  they are AMAZINGLY comfy and practical to!!!

My most worn/used make up!( at the moment!)

I'm really into Barry M products at the moment, so I have quite a bit of that brand in here!

The first product that I love at the moment is the Barry  3 in 1 mascara, it curls, lengthens and volumises lashes.  I only got this last week and already love it!  It leaves my eyelashes feeling nice as opposed to crispy/flaky.  I got this in the barry m website for £6.19

I go this Rimmel glam eyes day 2 night mascara last month, it is quite good!  I tend to use both of them as opposed to one or the other as I find my lashes look nicer and more volumised if I use both.  I start with the length one, then put the volume on top.  I got this for £6 on a promotional offer, and am unsure how much it costs now!

I don't use foundation or powder every day, its more for when I'm going out so powders last a long time for me!

I got this NYC matte powder foundation from superdrug for £3, it leaves my face looking nice and more natural than most powders i have used ( although i totally got it a shade darker than i should have so have to put less on lol) .

This rimmel hide the blemish concealer is really good at hiding the redness of spots!! I also put it under my eyes to hide dark circles!!  Im unsure how much this is as I got this a long time ago, but I cant imagine it being more than a few pounds in boots or superdrug!

This rimmel blusher is really good and leaves my cheeks a really nice colour :)

I love this Barry M felt tip eye liner!It stays on quite well and comes out really dark!  I wear this usually at the weekend as I wear very little make up to work.  It also looks nice as a liner along your lower lash line.  This is currently £4.59 on the Barry m website!

I love wearing colours on my eyes!  I got this eye pallet from accessorize for my birthday this year so am unable of the price!  My favourite colours are the gold ( top right corner!) and the greys and blacks are really good for smokey eyes!

My hair essentials!

Hey everyone!

I'm going to show you the 6 hair products that I use every, if not most times that I wash my hair!  I really don't know what I would do without these products!  I will tell you a little about them and the prices to!

I also thought I should tell you that I have loose curly hair, that is is chin length ( I had an inverted bob and its gradually growing!) and a side fringe.  I also very rarely straighten my hair as it is in much nicer condition when I don't use heat on it!)

The first product  I use is this supersoft kids detangling spray!  It really helps with tricky knots and it smells lush!   This was £1.40 from Tesco ( a while back though so prices may be different now!). 

 You spray 10ish sprays ( depending on hair length!) and brush or comb through your hair.

The next product I use is Schwarzkopf Bonacure moisture spray, this is a leave in conditioner that I use every time I wash my hair.

I spray this all over my hair ( only a little on the roots as I find it can make it slightly greasy!)

I got this from superdrug for £7.

I then use Herbal Essences beautiful end protection cream for dry/dull ends.

I put about 1p worth on my hand, rub it between my hands and rub it through the ends or my hair, layers and my fringe.  

This was £1.89 in Boots around 5 months ago.

 After using my hydrating hair bits, I next use Toni and Guy beach curl spray.

I spray about 5 sprays around my head, If you want a more defined curl/ wave spray more, but I find it makes my hair crispy!

This is currently £6.12 in boots and is in the 3 for 2 offer!

I use Tresemme heat protector spray before I dry and straighten my fringe ( and on the odd occasion that i actually straighten my hair!).  It seems to work really well and leave my hair feeling nice!

This is currently £4.99 in boots

My final ( and favourite!) hair product that  I use on a regular basis is Lee Stafford treatment for hair that never grows past a certain length.  I purchased this at the beginning of June after watching a video review on youtube and decided to buy it and give it a go myself.

I am normally very sceptical about buying products that say they help hair growth, but I am very very impressed with this!!  I have been using it for just over 3 weeks and my hair is already noticeably longer( by about 3/4 of an inch!).  Not only has it helped my hair growth, it has made it really soft, and less of my hair is falling out when I brush it!

It recommends shampooing your hair first, then using this between shampooing and conditioning your hair.

You scoop an egg sized amount (I use slightly less due to having short hair!)

Then you massage it into your roots and through the rest of your hair.  It recommends to leave it on for 5 minutes then rinse off, but I sometimes wash my hair when getting in from work, then leave this on as I'm pottering around the flat and wash it off a hour or so later as i find this makes my hair feel really nice!When you first use it it recommends using it every time you wash it, then once you get into the swing of using it and feel/see a difference, use it every now and then.  I now use it every other time I wash my hair and still have great feeling hair!

I got this for £7 in boots and Lee Stafford products are quite often on offer so keep an eye out!!!
